Netflix Secures The Hunting Wives for a Third Season Months Before Season 2 Airs

Netflix has officially ordered a third season of the drama "The Hunting Wives," according to multiple outlets. Per ScreenRant, the renewal comes over a month before the show's second season is set to premiere.

Variety reports the show was originally developed for Starz but was acquired by Netflix before its 2025 debut. The series, starring Brittany Snow and Malin Akerman, is produced by Lionsgate and 3 Arts Entertainment.

Season 2 is scheduled to launch on November 26, 2026. ScreenRant notes the second season was renewed just three weeks after the show's first season premiered in July 2025.

Creator and showrunner Rebecca Cutter shared her enthusiasm for the renewal in a statement reported by both outlets. "I'm so stoked to be heading back to Maple Brook," Cutter said. "I promise that once you've finished Season 2, you'll be desperate to see what happens next."

Cutter also teased the direction of the new season. She promised, per her statement, that "Season 3 will be even more scandalous and twisted." The show follows a woman named Sophie who becomes entangled with a local socialite, leading to obsession and murder.
