New Images Show Brendan Fraser Back in Action for The Mummy 4

Brendan Fraser is officially back in the saddle for a new adventure. According to MovieWeb, new behind-the-scenes images show the actor, covered in soot and grinning, filming scenes as Rick O'Connell while piloting a rocket car.

The photos, sourced via the Daily Mail, were reportedly shot at a former military base. They feature Fraser working alongside a stunt performer, hinting at high-speed action for the long-awaited sequel.

The report confirms the return of the original core cast. Rachel Weisz and John Hannah are set to reprise their roles, alongside Arnold Vosloo as the villain Imhotep. Also returning are Oded Fehr as the Medjai warrior and Kevin J. O'Connor as the weaselly Beni.

Newcomer Michael Johnston joins the cast in an undisclosed role, though speculation points to him playing Rick and Evy's son Alex.

While plot specifics remain under wraps, Universal Pictures has scheduled The Mummy 4 for an October 15, 2027 release.
