New James Bond Actor Unveiled in First Look at Young Bond Audio Series

The next actor to officially play James Bond has been revealed, but not for the big screen. Per Collider, first-look images show Isaac Rouse as a teenage 007 in a new audio adaptation.
The images feature Rouse as the character at Eton College. They are for the upcoming full-cast audio drama "Young Bond: SilverFin," an adaptation of Charlie Higson's 2005 novel. The story is set in the 1930s and follows Bond at boarding school before an adventure in Scotland.
The adaptation features a cast including Charlotte McBurney, Tim McInnerny, and Paterson Joseph. It also includes connections to Bond history, with Ian Fleming's niece, Lucy Fleming, voicing a character.
Collider notes this project is separate from the upcoming James Bond film, which still hasn't cast its new lead. This audio series explores the character's childhood, not his career as a spy.
"Young Bond: SilverFin" is set for release on October 29, 2026, from production company Big Finish.
