New Ocarina of Time Clip Shows Ganondorf in Slow Motion
Nintendo just dropped a fresh peek at its upcoming Switch 2 remake of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, and it’s all about Ganondorf. The 16-second clip, posted on the Nintendo Today! mobile app, gives a closer look at the Gerudo king’s updated design as he rides on horseback, per IGN.
The video expands on a dream sequence shown in last month's Nintendo Direct. Voiceover in the clip describes Ganondorf as "a man from the Gerudo, a tribe in which men are said to be born only once in a hundred years" who seeks the Triforce.
Nintendo Life notes the company also shared comparison footage with the original Nintendo 64 and 3DS versions. The new clip reveals a small but notable tweak: the scene now runs in slow motion, whereas Ganondorf moved at normal speed in the older releases.
The remake is set to launch on November 5, 2026. The brief look arrives as debate continues over some of the remake's announced changes, including the addition of a dedicated jump button.
