A new, age-restricted trailer for Stellar Blade: Complete Edition on the Nintendo Switch 2 has dropped, per Nintendo Life. The footage shows off what the outlet calls "kick-ass gameplay" on the upcoming console.
While the visuals are reportedly looking "pretty great," Nintendo Life notes there are some noticeable compromises to make the game run properly. The trailer's accompanying music is also described as a catchy number.
Shift Up, the developer, plans to release this version later this year, but a firm launch date has not been set. The original PS5 release of Stellar Blade in 2024 received positive reviews, including an 8/10 score from Push Square, which praised its combat and art direction but criticized its English dub and story.
The developer recently faced backlash for using AI in a music video for the upcoming sequel, Stellar Blade: Blood Rain. Shift Up responded that the AI was based on designs created by its team.
