New Trailer for Johnny Depp's 'Ebenezer' Drops Ahead of Holiday Release
Paramount has unleashed a fresh look at its upcoming Christmas fantasy flick, 'Ebenezer,' starring Johnny Depp as the miserly Scrooge. According to Vital Thrills, the film is a new take on Charles Dickens's classic 'A Christmas Carol.'
The studio teases the project with a simple logline: "This November, Johnny Depp is Ebenezer Scrooge. The name you know, the story you don't." It's scheduled to hit U.S. theaters on November 13, 2026.
Depp leads a sprawling cast that features Rupert Grint as his overworked clerk, Bob Cratchit. Andrea Riseborough plays the Ghost of Christmas Past, while Daisy Ridley takes on the spectral role of Christmas Future.
Other key players include Sam Claflin as Fred, Arthur Conti in an unspecified role, and Ian McKellen as the haunting Jacob Marley. The film is directed by Ti West, known for the 'X' horror trilogy, from a script by Nathaniel Halpern.
