New Xbox game in an established series tipped for Gamescom reveal
Microsoft may be preparing to unveil a new Xbox title at Gamescom later this month, according to an industry tipster.
Insider NateTheHate 2 claimed, per GameSpot, that he has heard about a "neat Xbox announcement" planned for the event. He specified it will be a "new game in a series" and not a brand new intellectual property.
The insider also ruled out any possibility of the reveal being a new Banjo-Kazooie game, confirming the project is not related to that franchise.
He added that the game in question originates from a franchise that has historically had a strong presence on Xbox platforms, suggesting it's a familiar series returning to its home turf.
