Nintendo adds Ninja Gaiden 3 and two more retro games to Switch Online
Nintendo has dropped a fresh batch of classic games into the Switch Online library. According to VGC, three more NES titles are now live on the service.
The new additions include the 1991 action platformer Ninja Gaiden III, the co-op shooter Ikari Warriors from 1986, and Rare's 1992 racing sequel R.C. Pro-Am II. Nintendo Life notes this update brings the total count of NES games on the western version of the service to 87.
VGC reports that Ninja Gaiden 3 completes the trilogy on the platform, as the first two games were already available. In it, hero Ryu Hayabusa is framed for murder and uncovers a CIA plot involving super mutants.
Ikari Warriors lets players control commandos Paul and Vince, gunning down enemies solo or with a friend, with tanks available for extra mayhem. R.C. Pro-Am II builds on the original with city and off-road tracks, supporting races for up to four players.
These retro titles are accessible with a standard Switch Online membership, which starts at $3.99 per month. A separate, pricier Expansion Pack tier is required for libraries like Nintendo 64 and Sega Genesis.
