Nintendo Deflects GTA 6 Switch 2 Questions to Rockstar

The question of a Nintendo Switch 2 version of Grand Theft Auto VI is being kicked back to Rockstar Games, per reports from Polygon and GameSpot.
Nintendo of America President Devon Pritchard discussed the potential of the Switch 2 in a recent interview covered by Polygon, stating the company is "just at the beginning of seeing what the Nintendo Switch 2 can do." She expressed hope its improved performance could attract more big third-party releases.
When directly asked about GTA VI, however, she offered no promises. According to both outlets, Pritchard said the decision is "a conversation for Take-Two and Rockstar," adding there is "nothing to announce on my end at this time."
Her comments suggest no Switch 2 version of the blockbuster title is imminent, though the door isn't officially closed. GTA VI is currently confirmed only for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S when it launches this November, with a PC release expected to follow later.
