Noah Jupe joins 'Avengers: Secret Wars' in a top-secret role
Noah Jupe is officially joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The actor, known for "A Quiet Place" and "Hamnet," has been cast in a key but undisclosed role in "Avengers: Secret Wars," per multiple reports including Variety and Deadline.
Marvel Studios has not commented on the casting. The film, directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, is the direct follow-up to "Avengers: Doomsday," which is set for release in December 2026. According to Collider, Marvel has confirmed there will be no movies released between "Doomsday" and "Secret Wars."
Jupe is best known for playing Marcus Abbott in the "A Quiet Place" franchise and will reprise that role in the upcoming third installment. He recently starred in the Oscar-nominated film "Hamnet." His casting marks the first new addition to the "Secret Wars" cast that has been publicly reported.
Plot details for both "Doomsday" and "Secret Wars" remain under wraps. Speculation from outlets like MovieWeb suggests Jupe could be playing an aged-up version of a character related to existing Avengers, or potentially a future member of the X-Men, given his age proximity to the already-cast Sadie Sink (Jean Grey).
"Avengers: Secret Wars" is currently scheduled to hit theaters on December 17, 2027.
