Christopher Nolan has a new box office king. 'The Odyssey', his epic starring Matt Damon, has officially become his highest-grossing film worldwide, according to reports from The Hollywood Reporter and Collider.
The movie has now sailed past the previous record-holder, 'The Dark Knight Rises'. The victory lap comes just weeks after the Universal film docked in theaters on July 17.
Nolan's filmography is now defined by a Greek hero, not a Gotham one. The director's box office odyssey continues to make history.
