Nolan's 'The Odyssey' scores massive $264M opening, powered by Imax
Christopher Nolan has done it again, pulling audiences back to the big screen in a major way. According to Variety, his new film 'The Odyssey' posted a spectacular $264 million global opening weekend. The large-format exhibitor Imax was a huge beneficiary, delivering over half of those receipts.
In other streaming news, the 'Yellowstone' universe continues to dominate. MovieWeb reports that Taylor Sheridan's new nine-part western spin-off has officially become one of the biggest shows on streaming, further cementing Sheridan's reign over modern TV.
