Parker Posey to star in new Blumhouse horror film Sleepover

Parker Posey is set to lead the cast of the upcoming horror movie Sleepover, according to an exclusive report from Variety. The film is a co-production between Blumhouse Atomic Monster and Universal Pictures.

Director Jacob Chase, who helmed Insidious: Out of the Further, is on board to direct. He co-wrote the script with Bryce McGuire, the screenwriter behind Night Swim.

JoBlo confirms that Sleepover is scheduled to hit theaters on October 8, 2027. The project is adapted from an original idea by Bryce McGuire.

The casting of Posey marks a major addition to the horror feature, which is now officially on the calendar for a fall 2027 release.
