Peacock's 'The Good Daughter' trailer teases small-town murder mystery

Peacock dropped a tense new trailer for its upcoming limited series "The Good Daughter."
Per The Hollywood Reporter, the show stars Rose Byrne and Meghann Fahy as sisters Charlotte and Samantha Quinn. The duo works to solve a murder that rocks their small town, with a teenager framed as the main suspect.
The series, adapted from Karin Slaughter's bestselling novel, delves into a past trauma. The sisters' lives were fractured by violence two decades prior, and the new attack forces them to confront buried secrets.
Slaughter, who serves as showrunner, writer, and executive producer, said in a statement that the story explores the "unbreakable bond" between sisters. She praised Byrne and Fahy for capturing the "history, heartache and joy" of the relationship.
The ensemble cast also includes Brendan Gleeson, Olivia Williams, and Michael Dorman, among others.
All six episodes of the thriller will premiere on Peacock on November 12.
