Persona Producer Admits Remakes of the First Two Games Are a Must
An Atlus producer is finally giving fans of the classic games a sliver of hope. According to IGN, Kazuhisa Wada of Atlus' P-Studio said he "can't say for sure" if remakes of Persona 1 and Persona 2 are officially happening.
However, he strongly suggested it's an inevitability, stating it's "something we should definitely do" and that he thinks "we have to do it," per reports from VGC and Kotaku.
The original Persona and Persona 2 have long been overshadowed by the blockbuster success of the later entries. Wada's comments, while not a confirmation, are the clearest signal yet that Atlus is at least considering bringing its oldest stories to modern platforms.
