Phantom Blade Zero demo leaks ahead of State of Play, Donnie Yen revealed
Sony has announced a special State of Play presentation dedicated to the upcoming action game Phantom Blade Zero, set for August 17. According to multiple reports, the broadcast will feature nearly 20 minutes of deep-dive gameplay ahead of the title's October 29 release.
In a surprising twist, a playable PS5 demo for the game was spotted on the PlayStation Store, leaking just before the official State of Play announcement. The leak was reported by Push Square.
The big news from a new 11-minute pre-order trailer, however, is the involvement of martial arts legend Donnie Yen. GameSpot and VGC confirm the Hong Kong action star has been working on the game since 2023, bringing over four decades of experience to guide its 'kungfupunk' combat.
