PlayStation lines up two State of Play streams for September 3
Sony is planning a double dose of PlayStation news on Thursday, September 3. According to IGN, the company will host a State of Play showcase, followed immediately by a State of Play Japan presentation.
The first stream begins at 6am Pacific Time. Sony says it will feature updates and announcements from its studios and partners. The event will conclude with a lengthy new preview of Final Fantasy VII Revelation.
IGN will carry the livestream on its website and apps. A pre-show kicks off 15 minutes before the main presentation, and a post-show discussion will follow after the Sony streams conclude.
Beyond the Final Fantasy VII segment, the outlet speculates we might see more of Marvel's Wolverine, God of War Laufey, or Naughty Dog's Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet. Sony's recent push to end physical game sales by 2028 may also stir conversation in the chat.
