Pokémon Legends: Z-A Gets Complete Switch 2 Physical Bundle This October

Nintendo and The Pokémon Company are putting together a new physical package for Pokémon Legends: Z-A. According to IGN, this version will bundle the base game with its Mega Dimension expansion on a single cartridge, launching on October 29.

The cartridge is playable on both the original Switch and the Switch 2, though it offers enhanced features on the newer hardware. The included DLC, Mega Dimension, lets players access new areas in Lumiose City and introduces higher-level Pokémon battles alongside new Mega Evolutions like Darkrai and Magearna.

Nintendo Life reports that buyers will also get a download code for 100 Ultra Balls. This release follows a pattern set by previous Pokémon titles, offering a complete edition after the DLC's initial digital launch.

Per IGN, speculation from fans suggests that remastered versions of classic Pokémon titles from the Game Boy Advance era could also be in the pipeline for a future release. The company has not confirmed those rumors.

With no brand-new mainline Pokémon game scheduled for this holiday season, this bundled re-release is positioned as the major Pokémon offering for the end of the year.
