Pokémon TCG's first Valentine's Day set reportedly launching in 2027

Pokémon TCG is planning its inaugural Valentine's Day release for January 27, 2027, according to a report from IGN, which cites fan site Pokébeach.
The reported "Pokémon TCG Valentine’s Box" would follow a seasonal model akin to the Halloween-themed card packs the company already produces. These are not major expansions but smaller collections of cards.
Per IGN, the box packaging is designed to fold into a small cardboard mailbox, encouraging kids to hand out cards to classmates, mirroring traditional Valentine's exchanges at school.
The seasonal sets typically contain mini packs with three cards each, plus sticker sheets. IGN speculates the set could feature Pokémon like Sylveon, Audino, Blissey, or a heart-themed Pikachu, though no official lineup has been confirmed.
Past limited-time holiday releases from the Pokémon TCG have often sold out quickly and maintained high resale value on the secondary market, suggesting this Valentine's offering could be similarly sought-after.
