Possession remake with Qualley and Turner locked for summer 2027
Paramount is bringing back the chills. According to Variety, the studio has set a June 11, 2027 release date for its remake of the 1981 supernatural thriller 'Possession'.
The film, per TheWrap, will star Margaret Qualley, Callum Turner, Diego Calva, and Paul Dano. 'Smile' director Parker Finn is handling the adaptation.
MovieWeb notes the horror flick is set to open opposite Universal's live-action 'How to Train Your Dragon 2,' making for a very odd double feature that summer.
