Prime Video greenlights new 'Robocop' series
A new TV series based on the 1980s action-satire classic 'Robocop' is officially in production at Prime Video. According to Variety, the streaming service has placed an eight-episode order for the project.
Per JoBlo, the new series will aim to retain the original film's corporate satire tone. The project has been in development since Amazon's acquisition of MGM in 2022, as the company looks to tap into MGM's vast library of intellectual property.
