Prime Video Unveils First Look at Vikings Creator's New Bloodaxe Series

The first season will follow the story of the legendary Norse raider Erik Bloodaxe, played by Xavier Molyneux of "Neighbors." He will be joined by his powerful wife, Gunnhild, Mother of Kings, portrayed by "Bridgerton" actress Jessica Madsen.

Variety reports the series will chronicle the duo's fight for power and survival. The newly released images offer fans a first glimpse of the characters and the gritty, medieval world they inhabit.

No release date for "Bloodaxe" has been announced by the streamer. The show is expected to premiere exclusively on Prime Video.
