Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown free on Switch for a week via Game Trial
Nintendo Switch Online subscribers can download and play the entirety of Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown at no cost, but only until September 30. The promotion, reported by IGN and VGC, is part of Nintendo's Game Trials program and went live on September 24.
The catch is you need an active Nintendo Switch Online membership to access the full game demo. According to IGN, players who jump in can also snag 100 Platinum Points for their My Nintendo account by finishing a specific in-game task during the trial window.
VGC notes the trial ends on September 30 at 11:59 PM PT, giving players roughly a week with the game. The outlet points out that a typical playthrough takes about 16 hours, making a full completion before the deadline a challenge for most.
Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown is a 2.5D action platformer from Ubisoft Montpellier that launched in early 2024. Save data from this free trial will carry over if a player decides to purchase the full game afterward.
