Reacher racks up another billion-minute week to stay on top of streaming
Jack Reacher is still clocking in for massive overtime. According to Nielsen data reported by The Hollywood Reporter, Prime Video's 'Reacher' pulled in 1.18 billion viewing minutes for the week of September 7-13.
That marks the fifth week in a row the series has crossed the billion-minute threshold. It also held its position as the number one overall streaming title in the U.S. for that frame.
A former TNT series made a splashy debut. 'Major Crimes', which was added to Netflix on September 3, racked up 906 million minutes across Netflix and Pluto TV to land on the charts.
On the movie side, a Tyler Perry comedy for Netflix led the pack. 'Why Did I Get Married Again?' was the most-watched film, and it ranked third across all streaming categories with 908 million minutes.
The Nielsen numbers only account for viewing on television sets in the United States, excluding computers and mobile devices.
