Rick Devens wins Big Brother 28 and America's Favorite Houseguest

The Hollywood Reporter confirms Rick Devens is the winner of Big Brother season 28. The jury voted 6-1 in his favor, with Taylor Brown finishing as the runner-up.

In a double victory, Devens was also named America's Favorite Houseguest during the live finale. According to the report, this fan-voted title earned him an additional $50,000.

Combined with the $750,000 grand prize and a previous $10,000 win, Devens's total summer haul reached $810,000. The runner-up prize is $75,000.

TVLine's recap details the final Head of Household showdown. Taylor Brown won the first part, but Devens clinched parts two and three, securing his power to choose who to take to the final two.

Despite a close alliance, Devens ultimately evicted Drew Campbell, sending Taylor to face the jury instead. Per TVLine, Devens told Drew the move felt like a 'total betrayal.'

The outlet also notes that host Julie Chen Moonves announced the CBS reality show will return for two additional seasons.
