Ridley Scott's new post-apocalyptic film, The Dog Stars, has crashed at the box office. According to Deadline's numbers reported by ScreenRant, the movie is projected to earn just $8 million over its opening weekend domestically.
Per the outlet, that places the film's debut as the fifth-lowest opening for any of the 20 theatrical features Scott has directed since the year 2000. Only A Good Year, The Last Duel, All the Money in the World, and The Counselor opened to less.
