Robert Pattinson says 'The Batman 2' is paused until director returns

Robert Pattinson has given a status update on the delayed sequel to 2022's 'The Batman'. According to MovieWeb, the actor said filming is on hold, stating, "We're pausing for a little bit, and then we're going to figure it all out."
The film, officially titled 'The Batman: Part II', had begun production earlier this year. However, director and co-writer Matt Reeves stepped away in early October for what was reported by Deadline as a family matter.
With Reeves absent, the production has come to a standstill. Warner Bros. and DC Studios have not provided further details on the director's situation or a timeline for his return.
The movie is currently scheduled for a February 18, 2028 release. This follows multiple previous delays, including those related to industry strikes and the development of the HBO spin-off series 'The Penguin'.
