Romy and Michele get the sequel call, declare themselves Disney princesses
Looks like a sequel to the 1997 cult comedy is officially in the works. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Lisa Kudrow and Mira Sorvino showed up at D23 in full character, hinting at a 'Romy and Michele 2'.
At the event, the pair hilariously announced they are now 'officially Disney princesses'. The original film followed two best friends as they navigated a high school reunion with questionable success.
The follow-up is now set to bring their unique brand of fashion and friendship back to the screen, this time under the Disney umbrella.
