Rumors swirl that Nintendo is exploring a Switch 2 OLED model
Talk of a potential screen upgrade for the Switch 2 is heating up. According to reports from ZDNet Korea, via Digital Foundry, Nintendo is seriously considering an OLED model for its upcoming console, per GameSpot.
This would follow the successful strategy used with the original Switch, which got a popular OLED refresh. However, Eurogamer notes the company is reportedly worried about how a price increase for the new screen would affect consumers.
Kotaku adds that the rumors point to Samsung potentially supplying a brighter display. While it seems like a natural move, any OLED version is likely still a ways off.
