Russo brothers tease Hulk return and more secret characters for 'Avengers: Doomsday'
Think you know the full cast for Avengers: Doomsday? According to The Hollywood Reporter, you might be missing a few names.
Directors Joe and Anthony Russo told Empire Online that there are unannounced characters joining the already massive ensemble. When asked about the Hulk, Joe Russo said, "[Bruce Banner] is certainly involved in the story that revolves around Doom. We will not confirm nor deny his appearance in Doomsday."
Anthony Russo added to the mystery, stating, "The farthest we can go is to say, there are characters and actors who have not been announced, who are a part of Doomsday."
The directors also revealed they started filming without a finished script. Joe Russo explained their process, saying they view the script as a living organism and rely on improvisation and actor input, per The Hollywood Reporter.
The film's confirmed roster, as listed by the outlet, already includes 31 characters. It spans MCU veterans like Captain America and Thor, the new Fantastic Four cast, Thunderbolts members, and X-Men from the Fox era, all led by Robert Downey Jr.'s Doctor Doom.
