Ryan Gosling blasts into a new galaxy with 'Star Wars: Starfighter' first look
The first footage for the new Star Wars movie has arrived, and it's got a new pilot in the cockpit. Per Variety and Collider, the D23 reveal for 'Star Wars: Starfighter' stars Ryan Gosling racing through the galaxy.
The trailer, reported by multiple outlets, shows Gosling's character zipping through space in what ScreenRant calls the 'fastest starfighter' and escaping from troopers. TheWrap notes the preview also features robots, starships, and typhoons.
Directed by Shawn Levy, the film is set to launch a new era for the franchise, according to MovieWeb. Disney has locked in a theatrical release date of May 28, 2027.
