Ryan Hurst injured, forced to exit God of War series as Kratos
The live-action God of War series just hit a major snag. According to JoBlo, star Ryan Hurst suffered an on-set injury requiring surgery, forcing him to step away from playing the Spartan warrior Kratos.
Hurst had reportedly been in the role for months before the stunt mishap. The production now faces a major recasting effort to find a new lead for the highly anticipated Prime Video show.
