Ryan Reynolds hails 'The Odyssey' as biggest R-rated film ever

Ryan Reynolds says Hollywood is living through "the friggin' salad days" after a massive summer at the box office, per Variety.

The actor singled out Christopher Nolan's "The Odyssey" for special praise. He personally congratulated the film's cast and crew after it passed his own "Deadpool & Wolverine" to become the highest-grossing R-rated movie in history.

Reynolds declared that Nolan "literally breathes the rarest air on Earth."

The star credited blockbusters like "The Odyssey" and "Spider-Man: Brand New Day" for powering the post-COVID box office rebound.
