Saber CEO Confirms Trailer 'Dig' at Gearbox Boss Is Payback for Borderlands 4 Joke

A simmering CEO feud just hit the big screen, or at least a game trailer screen. According to IGN, Saber Interactive's CEO admitted a new trailer for 'Rideshare Stimulator' contains a jab at Gearbox boss Randy Pitchford.

He told VGC it's direct payback. The dig is in response to a shot Pitchford's studio allegedly took at former parent company Embracer in a 'Borderlands 4' trailer.

So, what started as corporate jabs in looter-shooter promos has now spilled over into a taxi simulator's marketing. It's a weird day for video game beef.
