Sam Rockwell's wild audition trick shocks the 'Smartless' podcast crew

On the 'Smartless' podcast, Olivia Wilde spilled the beans about a legendary Sam Rockwell move that booked him roles early in his career. Wilde, who worked as a casting assistant, said it was a real education in how Hollywood works.

She credited the story to her time working for casting director Mali Finn, according to TheWrap. The exact trick remains a mystery, but it was apparently a surefire way for Rockwell to make a memorable impression.
