Samuel L Jackson Says Nick Fury Will Return In Avengers Secret Wars

Samuel L. Jackson has confirmed his next Marvel Cinematic Universe appearance. Per /Film, the actor revealed in an interview with The Direct that his character, Nick Fury, will not appear in the upcoming Marvel film 'Doomsday.' Instead, he stated his return is scheduled for the movie after that.

Jackson specifically named 'Avengers: Secret Wars' as his next MCU project. The actor noted that Marvel Studios has not shared any story details with him, only confirming his absence from the prior film and his inclusion in this one.

The massive crossover event 'Avengers: Secret Wars' is currently scheduled for release on December 17, 2027. The film will be directed by Anthony and Joe Russo.

Jackson's upcoming non-Marvel work includes the film 'The Beast,' arriving in October 2026, and J.J. Abrams' 'The Great Beyond' in 2027.
