Scrapped Nova show shifts gears, becomes new Marvel movie from Loki creator

A forgotten Guardians of the Galaxy spin-off is getting a second life, but not on Disney+. According to MovieWeb, Marvel Studios is now developing a Nova film after originally planning it as a TV series.

Loki creator and Avengers: Doomsday co-writer Michael Waldron is on board to write the project, per multiple reports. JoBlo notes the film is currently in early development.

TheWrap adds that writer Sabir Pirzada, who worked on Moon Knight, previously penned a draft of the script. It seems the cosmic hero is finally blasting his way onto the big screen.
