Sony Announces Two PlayStation State of Play Streams for This Week
Sony has confirmed two back-to-back PlayStation State of Play presentations for later this week, per IGN and GameSpot. The first showcase is scheduled for this Thursday, September 3, starting at 6 a.m. Pacific Time.
The main broadcast will include news from Sony's internal studios and external publishing partners, according to the reports. It is slated to conclude with a lengthy new preview of Square Enix's Final Fantasy 7 Revelation.
Immediately after, a separate State of Play Japan stream will begin. This follow-up event, hosted by voice actor Yuki Kaji, will focus on upcoming titles from developers across Japan and Asia, promising fresh gameplay and reveals.
VGC notes that Sony's typical September showcase often precedes the Tokyo Game Show. While the exact lineup is unconfirmed, speculation on social media has centered on titles like the long-awaited Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet from Naughty Dog and the imminent Marvel's Wolverine from Insomniac Games.
