Splatoon 4 on the way, Nintendo producer confirms
Worried the new spin-off Splatoon Raiders means the end of classic Turf War? Relax, Inklings. A Nintendo producer just confirmed the core competitive series is alive and kicking.
In a recent 'Ask the Developer' interview spotted by Nintendo Life, producer Seita Inoue reportedly said the team has "no intention of deviating" from Splatoon's PvP roots. He even used the phrase "Splatoon 4," which has fans taking it as a clear sign a proper mainline sequel is in the works.
The news comes as Splatoon Raiders launches this week, a pivot from the usual multiplayer focus. But it seems Nintendo sees it as a side dish, not the main course. The core ink-slinging competition will endure.
