Squishmallows movie in development at Amazon MGM
Your favorite ultra-plush collectibles are heading for the big screen. A feature film based on Squishmallows is now in the works, according to an exclusive report from Variety.
The studio Amazon MGM is developing the project as a major family tentpole. The plan is to bring the soft toys and their quirky personalities to life in a new cinematic adventure.
Variety says the studio has licensed the rights and will co-produce the film with the brand's creator, Jazwares. No plot details or release window have been revealed yet.
