Stalker 2 Dev Disputes Founder's Claim on Xbox Exclusivity Profit
Drama is brewing behind the scenes of the long-awaited shooter Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl. The founder of developer GSC Game World recently claimed the game had already turned a profit before launch, thanks to a payment from Microsoft for Xbox exclusivity.
However, the current development team has hit back, according to IGN. They insist the founder "doesn't know what he's talking about" regarding the game's finances and the deal with Microsoft.
The public spat reveals a split within the studio over how the game's business is being discussed, even as its release date approaches.
