Stallone Calls Himself An Idiot For Doing His Own Stunts

Sylvester Stallone is offering a major warning to his fellow actors: leave the stunts to the professionals. In a chat with Fox News Digital, the action legend admitted to having "millions, millions of regrets" about performing his own daredevil acts over the years.
He detailed a brutal list of injuries, per Variety, stating he's endured nine back operations, three neck fusions, and both shoulders being "ripped out." He specifically pointed to an incident on the set of 2010's "The Expendables" where a stunt with WWE star Steve Austin went wrong, leading to dislocated shoulders, a fractured neck, and multiple back surgeries.
Stallone's advice is blunt. "Don't. Let the pro do it," he said. He argued you can't beat gravity and that the physical toll always comes back to haunt you. When asked if he's proud of the stunts, he responded, "No. I think I'm an idiot for doing that."
This isn't the first time he's shared this regret. While promoting his recent memoir, he reportedly expressed to The New York Times that the physical punishment he endured came at a severe cost and that if he had a do-over, he'd let someone else take the risks.
