Star Trek 4 officially ditches the old crew for all-new characters

The final frontier is getting a brand new crew. Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis Daley have officially confirmed that the long-awaited 'Star Trek 4' will boldly go where the franchise hasn't gone before.

Per MovieWeb, the directing duo revealed the film will feature a cast of characters we've never seen before, signaling a major course correction for the movie series.
