Star Wars Officially Confirms The Return Of Mara Jade Skywalker

She’s finally out of the Legends bin. According to a report by ScreenRant, Disney is officially bringing Mara Jade Skywalker, a fan-favorite from the Star Wars expanded universe, back into the fold.

After 35 years, the character's existence is finally being acknowledged by the current canon. The move signals a thawing of the icy relationship between Disney and the old Expanded Universe stories.

This is a major win for a vocal corner of the fandom. Mara Jade's return opens up new possibilities for storytelling in a galaxy far, far away.
