Steven Yeun to Star in Netflix Supernatural Drama Pagans
Steven Yeun has officially signed on to headline the Netflix series "Pagans," Variety confirmed. The supernatural drama comes from Joshua Zetumer, the creator of "Say Nothing," who will also run the show.
The logline, per Variety, describes a father, played by Yeun, left alone to raise his kids following his wife's death. His son is ordinary, but his daughter, Alice, is not. Their difficult relationship is said to take a dark turn.
JoBlo reports the series was the subject of a fierce bidding war last year, with up to 18 different studios and producers vying for the project. Netflix secured it with a straight-to-series order.
Yeun will also serve as an executive producer on the series, according to JoBlo. Other executive producers include Drew Goddard, Sarah Esberg, Jonathan van Tulleken, and Erica Kay.
The role marks a return to Netflix for Yeun, who won an Emmy for his role in the streamer's limited series "Beef."
