Superman Gets a New, More Fight-Ready Suit in Man of Tomorrow

David Corenswet has revealed a suit upgrade for his Superman in the upcoming sequel, 'Man of Tomorrow'. In an interview with People, the actor shared that the iconic costume has been tweaked for functionality.

Per Collider, Corenswet stated, "The suit itself is a little bit different. They re-engineered it to be slightly more functional and ready for a fight."

The film, due in 2027, will see Corenswet's Superman team up with an unlikely ally, Nicholas Hoult's Lex Luthor, to face the villain Brainiac, played by Lars Eidinger. The movie will also feature the return of several heroes from the 'Justice Gang', including Mister Terrific, Guy Gardner, and Hawkgirl.

New additions include Aaron Pierre as John Stewart and Xolo Maridueña returning as Blue Beetle. A full plot synopsis and trailer have not yet been released.

Corenswet first played Superman in James Gunn's 2025 film and made a brief appearance in 2026's 'Supergirl'.
