Syfy cancels revival drama 'Revival' after one season

The Syfy channel has canceled its original series 'Revival,' per TVLine. The network will not proceed with a second season.

The show, which wrapped its first season in August 2025, was adapted from the Tim Seeley and Mike Norton comic series. It followed a Wisconsin town where recently deceased residents returned to life, not as zombies but seemingly as themselves. Officer Dana Cypress, played by Melanie Scrofano, investigated a murder amidst the town's chaos.

The cast also included David James Elliot, Romy Weltman, and Andy McQueen.

With this cancellation, Syfy's sole remaining original is the series 'The Ark.' Its third season concluded in October but has not yet been officially renewed for a fourth.
