Take-Two Confirms GTA 6 Release Date, Calls Preorders 'Unprecedented'
Rockstar's parent company is doubling down on the hype for Grand Theft Auto VI. Take-Two Interactive has confirmed the blockbuster's planned November 19 release date remains on track, according to reports from IGN and GameSpot.
During an earnings call, CEO Strauss Zelnick declared the game's preorder numbers are "unprecedented" across the entire industry. "No one's ever seen anything like this before at Take-Two, or in the industry," he said, per GameSpot.
The company also stated the upcoming 'GTA 6: An Extended Look' video is expected to further stoke fan excitement. With the date locked and demand soaring, the road to Vice City looks clear.
