Taylor Sheridan's Call of Duty Movie Will Be Set in Modern Warfare Universe
The Call of Duty movie is heading for the Modern Warfare front lines. According to multiple reports from Variety and The Hollywood Reporter, the upcoming adaptation penned by Yellowstone creator Taylor Sheridan will specifically draw from the popular military shooter sub-series.
Sheridan is co-writing the screenplay with director Peter Berg, Collider notes, cementing the film's direct ties to the Modern Warfare games. Details of the plot are still classified, but the universe is now locked in.
