Tekken 8 unveils Baki character Yujiro, sets release for kangaroo Roger Jr
Tekken 8 is showing off its wild side with two new fighters. As reported by Push Square, the boxing kangaroo Roger Jr is jumping into the game next month, with an early access release on November 12 and a full launch on November 17.
A trailer shown at EVO France featured the acrobatic marsupial, showcasing a moveset packed with stomps and crazy flips. The character is part of the game's ongoing third season of content.
The real surprise, according to the outlet, was the first look at the previously announced Baki the Grappler crossover. The fighter Yujiro Hanma was revealed and is described as looking appropriately sinewy and imposing, just like his manga counterpart.
Bandai Namco plans to show more of Yujiro at the Tekken World Tour Finals on January 17, with the character slated to arrive this winter. This follows the recent additions of Kunimitsu and Bob to the game's roster.
